We celebrated birthdays this evening at the in-laws. My sister-in-law Amber and I share the same birthday. Same day, same year, same hospital even. So, when birthday time comes around, we celebrate together, along with Cory's Uncle Dale, whose birthday is the 13th, one day before ours. Julietta, understanding that Amber and I share the same birthday (and therefore are the same age), was quite shocked to hear that Uncle Dale is only one day older! I had to explain to her that he is one day and
many years older as well.
This is my birthday creation made by my amazing mother-in-law. I share my birthday, but we each get our own cake. Mine was yummmmy! Thank you "my other mommy" (a.k.a. Grandma Joy)!!

Before dinner, my girls played around in the front yard - after Julietta was unofficially banished from the house for being a noisy maniac. That kid has no volume control. As she told me when she was about two, "Jesus just made me this way!" (when I had asked her why she's always so loud). Silly kid!

These are the clematis that frame the doorway at my in-laws. They are so pretty this time of year. We have one the same color at our house. I like this picture because I have learned how to focus on a subject and move it out of the center of the frame. Our camera isn't all that fancy, but I am having fun with it.
Now this picture isn't all that different from those that I take myself (of myself), but this photo is courtesy of Julietta.

My father-in-law recently bought this thing called a "Flybar" at a yard sale. For some reason it makes me think "Death stick", but no serious injuries yet! It's a super duper pogo stick. Here's a shot of my dad on it. It's great to see him able to do this sort of thing when almost a year ago it would have been unthinkable. Way to go dad!

I had a picture of Cory on the Flybar loaded on here too, but it seems to have disappeared somehow, so rather then adding it to the beginning of my post, you can just check him out on it on the third video posted below.
Enjoy!
Tammie
