Julietta graduated last night from Pilot Rock Christian School. She'll be moving on to kindergarten at Bellview in the Fall. My girls and I arrived plenty early, so that I could save some good seats for our family. I took the following photos of my kiddos before the program began.
I absolutely adore these pics. of my girls. That's not hard however, because I absolutely adore these girls!

Whoever thought that all people should have a boy and a girl apparently never had two girls. Sisters are a special breed.

Julietta is showing off some of her hand motions for one of the songs that the children perform. I think it's partly the cut of the dress, partly the fact that she's getting older, and maybe partly the fact that we hardly slow down often enough to truly take a good look at our children, but in this picture, I cannot believe how tall, elegant, and beautiful my Julietta is. Where on earth is the time going?

Julietta made a stained glass cross for her teacher, Mrs. Patterson. This is Mrs. Patterson opening the gift.

Here is a shot of Julietta and her girlfriends. My poor girl is sad to be leaving her friends, and really not all that excited about growing up. I think she would run off with Peter Pan if she could. Her friend Shelby should be attending Bellview as well in the Fall, but most of her other friends are either staying at Pilot Rock for another year or moving on to other various Elementary Schools. Hopefully we can continue to keep in touch with some of them, and I know that my girl will make new friends quickly. She's quite the social butterfly you know. :-)

In Julietta's cheering section at graduation was Cory (in the black shirt, almost in the picture), Julietta's Uncle Lance, Auntie Amber, Grandma Joy, Grandma Janice, Melania, and Grandpa Skip. Other members of our family were either out of town or had previous obligations. It was nice however to have as many attend as we did.

Julietta and Mrs. Patterson.

Below is Julietta, Melania, and Mrs. Brown. Over the past two years, since Julietta began preschool at Pilot Rock, Mrs. Brown has become quite a good friend of ours. We are looking forward to having her as Melania's teacher as well, starting in September, 2010.

For her graduation gift, Cory and I gave Miss Julietta a pair of blue sapphire earrings (to match her eyes). She was so excited to receive them and wanted to show them off to everyone around. What a fun night.
I've uploaded a few of the videos that I took at the graduation. Some of the others are having trouble uploading onto my blog for some reason, and I don't have the patience to mess with it right now, so I'll leave you with these and try again with the others later.
God Bless, Tammie
